Community Leaders

Emily Malarkey and Ryan Perlin are widely recognized not only for their results in the courtroom, but also for their leadership in the legal and civic community.

Emily is a Past President of the Maryland Association for Justice, where she continues to educate trial lawyers and advocate before the Maryland General Assembly on civil justice issues. She also serves as an educational speaker and leader within the trial bar.

Ryan served as President of the Board of Directors for Disability Rights Maryland, where he continues as a Board member, and was recently President of the Alumni Board of the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. He also serves on the Board of Governors of the Maryland Association for Justice.

Together, Emily and Ryan are deeply committed to strengthening the legal profession, improving access to justice, and mentoring the next generation of lawyers, while remaining active and engaged in the Baltimore, greater Maryland, and D.C. legal communities.
